Terms of service.
Please note:
Cancelation Policy: Our cancelation policy requires notice the day before your scheduled appointment by 8pm via voicemail or text at 248-301-8238. Any other methods will not be accepted. If you cancel on your appointment day, you will incur a $30 fee that will be charged via the credit card on file, taking it off of a valid gift certificate or package on file, or via the deposit left on file for all new clients only. If you miss an appointment altogether OR CANCEL WITHIN 1 HOUR without notifying us properly via text or voicemail you will be charged $70 via one of the methods listed above. If your bank or credit card company has removed your payment method from our booking site or your credit card is declined for any reason, you will be e-mailed a Square invoice to be paid upon receipt and your account will temporarily be blocked from scheduling until payment is rendered. If you cancel an appointment and the appointment is PREPAID, you must let us know if a refund needs to be given outside the cancelation window as the system does not notify us of this.
Preferences: Most sessions have many customizable elements such as scents, sounds or music, pressure, pace, level of stretching, draping, level of undress, type of topicals used, and heat of table or room. While we will ask you about some of these preferences, it is your responsibility as our client to verbally communicate these preferences during your session. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or need something altered during your time with us, please speak up at the time of occurrence, otherwise your needs may not be met if we are unaware. We have very experienced practitioners here that may utilize advance methods, products, or skillsets during your service. By scheduling and receiving a service with us, you are giving us permission to utilize the products, tools, skillsets, and techniques that we see fit to execute the level of care and results desired at time of service.
Late Policy: In the event you are late for an appointment, we will attempt to call and text you with the number listed on file within 10 minutes of your scheduled time. If we are unable to reach you, the practitioner is free to exit the premises after 15 minutes of the scheduled time and you will be charged the cancelation fee. If you arrive late, your session time will be cut short and full price will still be rendered. We will not modify price under any circumstances.
Client Deposit Policy: All clients must leave a $30 deposit at time of online booking via credit card when scheduling online, no exceptions. In the event of a couples service please call or test us at 248-301-8238, you will be offered the option of a Square invoice or a virtual payment option(Cash App or Venmo) to send your deposit per person. In the event of a gift certificate, please call or text us, you must provide a gift certificate number or photo of gift certificate at time of booking. Some packages or gift certificates purchased within the system may allow you to pre-select an option in lieu of a deposit. All clients are required to have a valid credit card on file.
Illness: We have a strict no symptom, no service policy with the exception of seasonal allergies. This includes and is not limited to: colds, flu, viruses, rashes, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, hives, fungi, or any other communicable/contagious diseases. This is for your own benefit and the benefit of our practitioners. In the event that you come in regardless, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment at that time and you will be subject to a same-day cancelation fee. Please adhere to our cancelation policy and cancel the evening before. We follow state regulations based on our licensing requirements.
Refund Policy: We do not guarantee results of any kind, nor do we offer refunds of any kind once a service has been performed. We do not offer refunds for any gift certificates, prepay, or packages. Please allow 1 full week for any membership cancelations to take place. In the event you move further than 30 miles away from our location or leave the state, you will be permitted to transfer any services on file, packages or gift certificates to another person. Please call us directly at 248-301-8238 to coordinate this. Once a gift certificate or package has reached the expiration date, we will acknowledge it only for the amount paid to be used towards a service.
VIP Program: Upon completion of service, you will receive an e-mail with instructions for our VIP program. Our VIP program is free and may change at discretion of business owner year to year in terms of benefits or discounts.
Liability: We do not hold any responsibility for any occurrence after you have left our facility. In the event you experience any adverse reactions after you have left our facility, please contact us directly and we will advise you further regarding your situation or refer you to an appropriate party or specialist. Please be thorough when filling out your intake form and update us with any changes to your medical history so that they may be documented accordingly.
Legal: By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are waiving your right to press charges legally against Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification LLC or any of the independent contractors working at this establishment. By agreeing to these terms, you are acknowledging that you are entering into them voluntarily, without any coercion, distress, and are of sound mind in doing so. I am authorizing Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification the treatment or procedure that I have selected. I acknowledge that the services received at Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification are of a therapeutic nature and at any time a sexual advance or harassment has been initiated, the practitioner will immediately end the service and law enforcement will be contacted. I confirm that all statements and information provided by myself is accurate and up to date. I confirm that if I have any questions regarding any treatment at Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification I will ask them prior to the start of treatment. By electively receiving a service at our facility, you are entering into a contract with Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification that you consent to treatment and are allowing permission to utilize techniques, products, and tools that we deem are appropriate and necessary to facilitate care and execute the services in the way that we see fit.
Privacy Policy.
Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification demonstrates it's commitment to our customers’ privacy by providing this statement. Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification utilizes Acuity Scheduling via Squarespace and the policies and procedures for handling customer information have been created with the understanding that digital technologies are still evolving and that digital business methods are continuing to evolve to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies.
The information provided on our intake forms electronically via Acuity Scheduling Service is solely used for the contractors at Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification and will interact with our marketing services via Squarespace, as well as be utilized by our phone system, 2nd Line. Your information used to process your payments is via Square for credit cards, as well as Cash App or Venmo as an alternative for deposits. Square and Acuity Scheduling may store your credit cards or debit cards internally in our system, however your bank or credit card company may have security in place to block this storage. To manually remove a card from the system, you must request this to be removed manually from the account created in Square associated with your client file. You must be the card holder to remove or add a credit card to your client file. In the unlikely event of a data breach by a third party system, Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification is not liable for any outcomes that result from this.
Information gathered from visitors to our website is as follows: IP address, user account information that may be optionally logged as the client for booking purposes and checkout purposes, site visitation information, page views, browsers used and browser capabilities (both mobile and computer) and site search queries.
We also collect and retain any names and email addresses of those who communicate with us via our contact forms and other forms located in the site or in related landing pages or promotional pages. We retain the right to utilize e-mail marketing for any projects, DBA's, or collaborations under the Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification LLC
Under no circumstances will your data be sold to any third party developers or public listing agents. We do make use of Google Analytics for site traffic reporting. A third party software is used to connect and access Google Analytics Reporting API to gather analytics about our website. Your personal information is accessible only by Breathe: Bodywork and Beautification contractors. You retain the right to delete your card on file at any time after a service is rendered by putting in an e-mail request via the Contact Us section of our website or to delete your client file entirely. You retain the right to Unsubscribe to e-mail marketing at your own discretion via the e-mail sent to you. To protect your personal information, we have secure page logins and locked user accounts to email addresses so that any attempt to access login information cannot be sent to non-authorized parties. Our website makes use of cookies which are small digital files that are stored in your web browser that enable us to track your return visits to our website. You may choose to disable cookies at any time on your own device.
